Behavioral health services

Our services

We offer integrated behavioral health care: psychiatric medication management, psychotherapy, couples and family work, and specialty programs. Care is available in person and through secure telehealth, where clinically appropriate.

01

Psychotherapy

Individual psychotherapy at this practice draws on empirically supported modalities — including cognitive-behavioral approaches, psychodynamic frameworks, and acceptance-based methods — selected according to what the clinical literature and the patient's specific presentation together recommend. Sessions are conducted by licensed clinicians whose caseloads are intentionally sized to permit genuine preparation and reflection for each patient they see. The aim is not symptom suppression alone but a substantive expansion of the patient's capacity to engage with their own life.

Our therapists are independently licensed (LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, LPC, PsyD, or PhD) and matched to your care based on your goals and the modalities best suited to them. Sessions are typically scheduled weekly or biweekly to start.

  • Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)
  • Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT)
  • Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) skills
  • Psychodynamic and supportive psychotherapy
  • Trauma-focused care
  • Perinatal and postpartum-specific therapy

Specialty Care

Beyond general psychiatric and psychotherapeutic care, Beacon Hill Clinical Partners offers focused clinical attention to several areas in which adult patients frequently require more specialized expertise. These programs are not separate intake pipelines but rather reflect the particular depth of training and clinical experience that certain members of the clinical staff bring to defined areas of need. Patients referred into a specialty focus area continue to receive coordinated care across the broader practice rather than being siloed into a standalone track.

Some conditions benefit from a clinician with focused training. Our specialty programs are organized around the diagnostic categories that present most often in adult outpatient behavioral health, staffed by clinicians with additional training in each area.

  • Anxiety disorders
  • Mood disorders
  • Obsessive-compulsive disorder
  • Trauma and PTSD
  • Perinatal mental health
  • Workplace burnout and occupational stress
  • Grief and loss

Telehealth

Secure video-based appointments are available for established patients and, where clinically appropriate, for new evaluations. The platform used by Beacon Hill Clinical Partners meets all applicable Massachusetts telehealth standards and federal privacy requirements, and the clinical experience is held to the same documentation and care standards as in-person visits. Patients who prefer the continuity of their treating clinician without requiring travel find that telehealth at this practice carries none of the quality compromise they may have encountered elsewhere.

Where clinically appropriate, both psychiatric care and psychotherapy are available through HIPAA-compliant telehealth. The same clinicians, the same care — delivered to wherever you can find a quiet, private space within your state of residence.

  • Telepsychiatry medication management
  • Teletherapy for psychotherapy and couples care
  • Secure, HIPAA-compliant platform
  • Equal-fee, in-network billing where your plan permits

Couples & Family Care

Relational and family work at Beacon Hill Clinical Partners is offered to adults who are navigating the particular difficulties that arise within significant relationships: communication failures, divergent coping styles, the aftermath of rupture, or the weight of caregiving responsibilities. The clinicians who conduct this work are trained specifically in systemic and relational frameworks, and sessions are structured to protect each participant's perspective while moving the work forward constructively. This service is available to couples and to adult family members seeking care together.

Relationships are part of behavioral health. Our couples and family clinicians are trained in evidence-based systemic and relational modalities, and care is delivered with the same evidence base as our individual treatment.

  • Couples therapy (Emotionally Focused Therapy, Gottman Method-informed)
  • Family therapy for adults and adult-child family units
  • Parent guidance for adults navigating parenting under stress

Psychiatry & Medication Management

Psychiatric services at Beacon Hill Clinical Partners begin with an extended initial evaluation designed to produce a thorough diagnostic formulation, not merely a checklist of symptoms. Medication management, where indicated, is approached as an ongoing clinical conversation: dosing decisions, tolerability concerns, and the relationship between pharmacologic and psychotherapeutic treatment are revisited at each appointment rather than assumed to be settled. Patients who have experienced fragmented psychiatric care elsewhere frequently describe the continuity here as a meaningful departure from that prior experience.

Our psychiatric care is delivered by physicians who completed an MD or DO, a four-year residency in psychiatry, and who hold board certification from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Visits are scheduled at the frequency your care requires.

  • Diagnostic psychiatric evaluation
  • Ongoing psychiatric medication management
  • Coordination with primary care & specialty providers
  • Care for mood disorders, anxiety disorders, OCD, trauma, perinatal mental health, and major life transitions
  • Telehealth or in-person at your preference

Care begins with a conversation.
